Excellent! My boyfriend will be thrilled — if I can just manage not to keep it for myself.
public enemy, holla.
yay, girly sizes!
mr glass IS amazing.
you too!
Can somebody familiar with American Apparel please confirm sizing for an Australian?
On Wire & Twine it suggests ordering a size larger than you normally wear. I pulled out a tape measure, used the ‘other’ side marked in inches: 36″ waist, 42″ chest. That puts me into the L / XL categories, and yet when I buy a t-shirt here I usually get an S or M. (I’m 5’9″ and about 170lbs, if I’ve done the sums right in my head, so on the smaller side of average.)
What gives: I thought you Yanks were meant to be the generously-proportioned ones?
AWESOME!!
Aways a big fan of Hel-Fucking-Vetica.
Jeez, these are so hot. I hope you have more fabulous t-shirts up your sleeve in the future. What about the oldstyle fonts?

You may see this on a shirt someday too. http://fpaulrand.wordpress.com/
I have been trying to figure out who I could give this shirt to for Christmas and haven’t come up with anyone. But I just realized that I should be getting it for Christmas, so I have added it to my list!
Awesome. My old one is getting a little worn 🙂
@michael: I usually order a medium when I get America Apparel shirts. I’m 5’11” and around 76kgs — I find the medium ever so slightly too large. Unless you like your tees loose, I’d go with M.
I ran into some problems ordering and talked to Chris at W&T. We think the Yahoo! store supporting the site might be overwhelmed by online shoppers today. You know, Charcoal Gray Monday, or whatever they call it. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t get through.
Just ordered mine, which I wont be able to wear until Xmas because it is technically for me, from my wife. She googled it the other day and came across the old information for the first run so she thought it was sold out, but I showed her this last night and she said it was OK that I order it and “forget” about it until Xmas.
Can’t wait!
@Max – Thanks for the info. I have ordered a medium, which I suspect I might also find a bit large. Better than getting one that won’t fit at all, I suppose …
A nice little Christmas present to myself. Hopefully Khoi sells enough that it’ll help add up to a decent present for him, too.
Submitted these to tcritic, right after they both went promptly on my Christmas list! Hopefully it will drive some sales so the man can get paid! So incredibly awesome…
Just ordered Hel Fucking Vetica for my 16-year-old son. Does that make me a bad dad?
I wonder why the stylesheet for this site specifies Arial ahead of Helvetica? This seems just wrong!
Excellent! Now when do we get a Mr. President t?
HELL YEAH! Now I can actually get one!
I was browsing your site, noted the shirts, clicked and made an impulse buy. Quite happy with the results – thanks!
Awesome stuff gonna let all my blog readers know about these cool designer shirts! I hope to see more soon!
aw, hel yeah! (sorry)
Got my Cooper Black Planet shirt in the post yesterday and am wearing it as I write this. I’m a sucker for type puns and quite like Public Enemy too, so it all works out quite well.
Print’s great, shirt’s great, thanks a billion!
